First Level: Use the "Sample Session" format with at least three of your dreams. This includes: Interviewing at least four dream characters in each dream, including yourself as you appear in the dream (called "dream self," to differentiate your dream identity from your waking identity.) Developing waking action plans for each of the three dreams based on the consensus recommendations of your dream group members. These must be acceptable to you. Charting your progress with each recommended action plan for at least a week each. E-mailing your work for our review and possible posting for other members of the Dream Sangha to review.

When completed, this level of certification says that you have an understanding, based on personal application, of the "Sample Session" format for Dream Yoga. It is a prerequisite to the other two levels.

Second Level: This level of certification is beneficial for those who wish a deeper understanding of Dream Yoga, of their internal Dream Sangha, and it is a pre-requisite to teaching Dream Yoga to others, which is the third level of certification. Second level certification includes: Learning and applying Dream Sociometry, the methodology from which the Sample Session format is derived. Materials in this website will lead you through this process. Applying Dream Sociometry to at least six of your dreams. Charting your progress with each recommended action plan for at least a week each. E-mailing your work for our review and possible posting for other members of your Dream Sangha to review.

While counseling with Dr. Dillard or a third-level certified Dream Yogan is not a pre-requisite for completing this level, it is advisable. This level of certification says that you have a basic hands-on understanding of Dream Sociometry, which indicates that you have invested considerable time and energy into developing an internal relationship with your internal Sangha. It also says that you are not only listening to your soul, but attempting to apply its direction to the best of your ability in your daily life.

Third Level: This level of certification is for those who wish to become teachers of Dream Yoga and be eligible for student referrals from Dr. Dillard. The third level of certification includes: First and second level prerequisite certification. Supervision by myself or a third-level certified Dream Yogan as you work with at least twelve dreams of students and six of your own. This supervision means phone or e-mail correspondence regarding your work, for which there will be a charge. The six dreams of your own may include three level one "Sample Session" dreams and three level two mastering Dream Sociometry. In addition, it is expected that you will continue to apply the method to at least two of your own dreams each month, focusing on waking application of consensus dream group recommendations.

This level of certification indicates a level of competency based on personal application that is worthy of the respect and trust of students. You may charge for your time and your expertise and you may receive referrals from Dr. Dillard for counseling using Dream Yoga. You will then practice within the regulations of your state or province, assuming all liability for your actions. This level of certification also indicates that you are working, on a daily basis, to listen to your soul and align your waking life, in all its aspects, with spirit. Many people think that they are doing so; many people say that they are doing so; few people are actually doing so. If you choose to follow this path, you will be one of those who is doing so and can back up that statement with testimony from your own dream group members.

Third level certification is merely a doorway to broader service to others. If you choose to go this far, you will be finding many ways to contribute not only to your Dream Sangha but to your fellow man in general. You will become a full partner in the future development of this website, of the growth of this work, based on the principles of consensus decision making which are themselves based on the recommendations of our own internal dream sanghas. We intend for you to prosper spiritually, mentally, emotionally, physically, interpersonally, and financially through your affiliation with this work.
